Where We Are

Where We Are…

Willoughby: A beautiful and active city stretching from I-90 to Lake Erie that is filled with many parks, shops, restaurants, and bars. Willoughby is a great place to live for many reasons, such as its recreational opportunities, cost of living, summer weather, and proximity to Cleveland. At the heart of the city is the historic Downtown Willoughby, a wonderful place to walk around and host to numerous events throughout the year.

Cleveland: About 20 minutes west of Grace sits Cleveland, a diverse city loaded in cultural heritage. A city that wears its heart and pride on its sleeves, especially for its three professional sports teams (Browns, Guardians, Cavaliers). Although known for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the city also features the beautiful sound of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra. Like the parks in Willoughby, Cleveland and its surrounding areas are filled with more nature-loving experiences such as Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Cleveland is home to world renowned hospitals, keeping our people healthy, happy, and in good spirits.

The Diocese of Ohio: The Diocese of Ohio was formed in 1817 as the first diocese established beyond the 13 colonies. It consists of 80 congregations stretching across the 48 counties in the northern half of Ohio. The diocesan offices are located within Trinity Cathedral, Cleveland. In 2017, the Diocese dedicated Bellwether Farm in Wakeman Township, near the demographic center of the diocese. Bellwether is a camp, conference, and retreat center situated on an organic regenerative farm designed to foster innovative community and educational partnerships. We are led by our 12th Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Anne B. Jolly. Serving in the Diocese of Ohio means that you join with a visionary, engaged, Bishop who is inspiring us to be more faithful, healthy, effective, and sustainable followers of Jesus Christ in our unique contexts.
